skiing

My dad was in the military so we have moved a lot. I have lived in six different states not including this one and have skied at four of the six. Here I have heard that the snow is the best because of the salt in the air. So far Colorado has been the best of the ski hills. I can't wait for it to snow more so I can try skiing here.
Skiing is probably one of my favorite things to do. I have tried to snow board without lessons and that didn't turn out so well. So maybe this year I will learn, but until I am good enough to snow board I am going to ski. I sometimes have problems with snow boarders because they sometimes think they are so cool that they can cut in front of you and just stop so you have to quickly dodge them. One of my favorite things to do on a ski hill is go into the trees and ski on the little trails as fast as I can. I also love to through the moguls in the trees because I like to have a challenge every once in a while.
One of the hardest things I think to do on skies is the half pipe. It is hard because you have two twist both big skies with just your ankles. One of the advantages of living in Layton besides having great snow is that I am right next to the ski hill. In Colorado we lived three hours away from the mountain. My family and I would have to get up at five just to be at the mountain by eight when the mountain opened. Right now I don't know what else to write about so I will have to think about more to write next week. Maybe I will write about how there is nothing to do.
